Austin, Texas – August 01, 2008 Deaton Engineering (DEI), a full service mechanical, electrical, and control system engineering firm, today announced the implementation of its Medical Device Product Development program which is based on the FDA’s design control regulations set forth in 21 CFR 820.30.

The Product Development program establishes the foundation and tools that provide the necessary framework for quality by design – building in quality from the development phase through a product’s life cycle. The Product Development program also promotes the improvement of internal work methods by continually evolving procedures and processes. In addition to our internal quality management system requirements, DEI conducts all work in accordance with the client’s specifications. DEI is committed to meeting the objectives of its clients.
